The M-Bus System:
The CmC Controlmatic Commerce d.o.o. has introduced in the Montenegrin market the remote water meter reading, the project which means a step forward in the future for the most water supply companies. Since amended Law on Communal Activities determined installation of water meters in every apartment, it posed a problem for the public water supply companies in reading an increased number of meters in the network. CmC Controlmatic Commmerce d.o.o. company which cooperates with the renowed international company ABB-ELSTER, can offer a complete M-BUS remote reading system which in the European context represents the best technology and eliminates the problem of reading increased number of water meters. There is no need for meter readers to come to houses or flats for reading meters. In this way we avoid errors due to human factor and we perform faster data transfer.
M-Bus system is a cost effective system using a simple remote meter reading for electricity, gas, heat or water. It not necessary for a meter reader to enter homes or flats to read. The M-Bus system can be connected to the system installed in the buildings.
Features and operation principle of M-BUS system:
•Meters are connected to M-bus network via M-bus module;
•M-Bus network is a two-strand cable network which connects all the meters;
•Control units from PW3 to PW 250 for control system of different sizes;
•The maximum length of the cable depends on the number of meters and type of cable;
•Each meter has its own address which is the key for a direct access to the control unit ;
•You can have different data readings for individual meters or groups of meters.

SLAVE unit:
Modules M-1, M-2, M-4 allows the connection of one, two or four different meters with the pulse output to control unit M-BUS (PW 3/5,PW 20, PW 60, PW 250). The unit acts as a "servant" (slave), which means that results can be sent only at the request of the "master" (master).
Major characteristics of the module:
•Power supply via control units and / or built-in battery;
•Uninterrupted operation even when the failure of the control unit occurs;
•M-Bus protocol in compliance with EN 1434-3;
•Many devices connected at a great distance;
•Setting the parameters via M-Bus.
MASTER unit (control unit) :
This unit can be used as a control/monitoring device or as a converter for the M-Bus system. It can monitor up to 250 meters with pulse output.
