The company CMC Controlmatic Commerce d.o.o. has performed work on the rehabilitation of the steel pipeline Plat - Herceg Novi in place called Obod (Republic of Croatia). The existing steel pipeline Ø600 which provides the main drinking water supply of the municipality of Herceg Novi, is due to soil erosion and landslides damaged and needed to replace 80 m of damaged steel pipe. Because the soil is prone to erosion and sliding there were built four AB beams-mounts on which the new pipeline is sat on. In order to ensure a pipeline from further landslides, damaged steel pipeline was replaced with ductile pipeline with anchored Ve connection, which is the first case of this type of pipe installation in Montenegro. The project also included control and drainage of surface water at the spot of the pipeline damage, as well as the replacement of the air valve on the pipeline route.
All works, with a total value of EUR 97,244.80, are completed on schedule, which was only 20 days. Investor is PE "Vodovod I Kanalizacija" Herceg Novi.
