Industrial water meters are intended for measuring and calculation of water consumption for pipe sizes DN50 to DN500. All water meters have flange connections. Industrial water meters include the next types of water meters:
•Woltmann water meters type HELIX WP;
•Woltmann water meters type VERTIX WS;
•Combined water meters type WPV.
HELIX WP
Characteristics:
•Dry dial mechanism;
•Cold water up to 50°C;
•Horizontal and vertical installation;
•Dimensions from DN50 to DN500;
•Qn from 15 to 1500 m3/h;
•The ability to measure flow in both directions;
•Small size and weight and large measurement range.
Special design / performance
With electronic measuring mechanism - allows connection to M-BUS system.
VERTIX WS:
Water meters type WS are water meters with a dry dial mechanism. The rotor gauge has vertical bearings, and water meters are characterized by a small measuring flow Qmin, and at maximum flow rates Qmax they do not reach the values as HELIX WP type does. The installation procedures of water meters series WS are the same as those of old water meters series INSA and they are designed only for horizontal installation. Measurement mechanisms have the same advantages as water meters series HELIX WP.

•Flange connection, DN50 to DN150;
•Water meters have three built-in serial pulse outputs.
Combined water meter type WPV:
Water meters type WPV are designed for measuring water in the points where, besides high flow rates, it is necessary to measure low flow (approx. 0,02 - 0,05 m3/h ). The main meter is HELIX WP series water meter which enables measurement of high flow rates, while for low flow rates the secondary (MO-R, MNR, MTR, MNR-KN...) are used. The control valve serves to divert the flow from the main to the secondary water meter. The working principle of the control valve allows a long-term operation with a minimum pressure drop.
