The basic elements of water meter manhole for residential water meter connections are a linear polyethylene encasement which has an oval cross-section and horizontal polyethylene barrier on which armatures are mounted.
Armatures in the manhole are thermally insulated with a specially designed cover that provides protection from freezing to a temperature of –25 ºC. Manhole covers can be made of linear polyethylene or ductile iron, depending on capacity requirements.
The manhole is equipped with PPR pipes and apart from water meters the manhole contains two ball valves of which one is fitted with the air outlet and drain. Water meter is connected to the installation with two joints of which one is adjustable (telescopic). The described design allows quick and easy dismantling of water meters, and installation of different dimensions of water meters (length).
Connection to the supply network is solved by mechanical joints mounted on the pipe connections at the entrance and exit of the manhole. Type and dimensions of connectors are defined in your order.
External dimensions of the manhole are fixed, but there is a possibility of constructing various types of manholes with different depth measures of connection pipes.
Purpose:
Polyethylene water meter manhole is intended for the house connections of residential and small commercial buildings in which water meters of dimensions up to DN25 are installed.
Installation of the manhole is possible in the gardens, lawns, sidewalks and other pedestrian areas. The design of ductile iron manhole covers allow installation on the surfaces where the traffic is less intense (only for passenger vehicles).
Manhole is suitable for installation in the water supply network with the pressure up to PN 16 bar.
