Saint-Gobain Pipelines is the primary manufacturer and supplier of pipes, fittings and armatures of ductile iron and cast iron for distribution of potable water and drainage of communal, process and rain water.
Interior pipe protection:
• Concrete mortar;
• Centrifugal application of layer thickness between 3 and 9 mm ;
• Low texture (k=0.1 mm);
• Resistant to abrasion and aggressive waste, from pH 4 to pH 12.
Exterior pipe protection:
PipeK9, STD protection:
• External coating of zinc 200 g/m + bitumen;
• Pipe diameter range DN 60 to DN 2000;
• Good mechanical characteristics;
• Simple laying and assembly procedure;
• Good resistance against corrosion.
Pipe C40 (C30), NATURAL:
• Better external protection (400 g/m2 Zn+Al alloy);
• Available for aggressive ground conditions;
• Pipe diameter range DN60 to DN600;
• Class C40 (DN60-300) and C30 (DN350-600).
Pipe K9, TT protection:
• PE protection, layer thickness of 900 microns;
• Available for highly aggressive ground conditions;
• Pipe diameter range DN 100 to DN 2000.
Pipe K9, ISOPAM:
• Polyurethane foam is injected between the pipe and external PE protection;
• They are suitable for the above-ground installations which are exposed to frosty conditions;
• Diameter range DN100 do DN600.
Pipe K9, STD protection + PE sleeve:
• PE film of 400 micron thickness, added later
• Available for the areas with stray currents;
• Diameter range DN60 do DN2000.
Pipe K12 ALPINAL:
• Zinced layer 200 g/m2+bitumen;
• For high pressure application (up to 100 bar);
• Diameter range DN80 to DN300.
